The strings are the vocal chords of the piano. Everything else is secondary to the performance of the strings. For that reason Steigerman imports its strings from the Roeslau Company in Germany, a manufacturer known for their superiority in making strings. Most of the finest pianos crafted, including all Steigerman models, use Roeslau strings.
